Wichita, KS – Groovin’ in the Garden, a benefit concert event, will be held on May 27th at Botanica Gardens in Wichita, Kansas, from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. The concert will feature performances by Erin Rolfe, Miss Kansas’ Teen 2023 and Rudy Love, Jr.
The concert is organized to raise funds for mental health organizations that provide support and resources to individuals and familiar in need of mental health resources. The goal is to bring awareness to the importance of mental health and to raise funds to support these organizations in their efforts to provide services and support those in need.
"We are excited to host Groovin’ in the Garden to benefit mental health organizations," said Erin Rolfe, the event organizer. "Mental health is an important issue, and we are committed to raising funds to support organizations that provide resources and support to individuals and families affected and in need."
The event will be headlined by singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Rudy Love, Jr., who will perform that evening. Love will showcase his talents that combine elements of soul, funk, and R&B. Also performing that evening will be Erin Rolfe who is organizing the concert. Rolfe will perform some of her favorite pieces from various genres.
"I'm thrilled to be a part of Groovin’ in the Garden,” said Rolfe. "This is an amazing opportunity to use music to raise awareness about the importance of mental health and to support organizations that are doing important work in this area." Organizations that Rolfe is fundraising for are: Mental Health Association of South-Central Kansas, NAMI-Wichita (National Alliance on Mental Illness) and the American Heart Association.
Tickets for the concert are available now and can be purchased through https://form.misskansas.org/concerttickets. All proceeds from the event will be donated to area mental health organizations that provide vital services and resources to individuals and families.
