Miss Kansas' Teen 2026

Ta'Lyiah Lewis

Ta'Lyiah Lewis was crowned Miss Kansas' Teen 2026 on June 6, 2026, in Pratt, Kansas, earning the opportunity to represent Kansas at the Miss America's Teen Competition.

A senior in Wichita Public Schools, Lewis is a multi-sport student-athlete who competes in basketball and volleyball and is passionate about proving that strength and grace go hand in hand. She plans to pursue a career in health care as a registered nurse or diagnostic medical sonographer, combining her love for serving others with her interest in medicine.

Lewis's Community Service Initiative, "Speak Hope", focuses on mental health awareness and suicide prevention, with a special emphasis on supporting teenagers. Inspired by her own experiences, she is committed to ensuring every young person feels seen, heard, and valued while helping break the stigma surrounding mental health.

Through partnerships with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), community outreach events, youth leadership conferences such as the Shine Girls Summit, and appearances on local television, Lewis has shared her story to encourage teens to seek help, build healthy coping strategies, and know they are never alone. She also reaches young people through her weekly "Mental Health Monday" social media series, where she provides encouragement, practical wellness tips, and reminders that asking for help is a sign of strength.

For her talent, Lewis performs a liturgical dance, using choreography to share a message of faith, hope, and perseverance. Her performances reflect both her artistic ability and her deep commitment to inspiring others through worship and storytelling.

As Miss Kansas' Teen 2026, Lewis is dedicated to serving communities across the state, advocating for mental health awareness, empowering the next generation of leaders, and representing the values of scholarship, service, style, and success that define the Miss America's Teen program. She has earned over $6,500 in scholarships to pursue her education.
