Miss Kansas 2025

Emily Rugg, a 26-year-old Wichita resident, was crowned Miss Kansas 2025 on June 7 in Pratt, Kansas. Representing the title of Miss Meadowlark, Emily brings with her a powerful voice, a passion for empowering others, and a commitment to professional development. She has earned over $23,000 in scholarships through the Miss Kansas Organization.

Emily’s Community Service Initiative, From Gap to Gain: Providing Professional Skills for a Stronger Future, focuses on equipping individuals with the tools they need to thrive in today’s professional world. Her passion for mentorship and youth empowerment is reflected in her roles as Vice President of Recruitment and Membership for WishICT (Make-A-Wish), Vice President of Community Outreach for Textron Aviation’s Takeoff program, and mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters. She is also the founder of the YP Conference, a skill-building event for young professionals, and an official partner of Junior Achievement of Kansas.
