The Miss Kansas Sunflower Program is a mentoring program for children ages 5-12 (as of May 31, 2021) who have an interest in learning about citizenship, leadership, volunteerism, and have a future interest in the Miss Kansas' Outstanding Teen and Miss Kansas programs.·
- Meet with Miss Kansas (during competition week in May).
- Meet with Miss Kansas' Outstanding Teen (MKOTeen) (during competition week in May).
- Meet with the Miss Kansas and Miss Kansas' Outstanding Teen titleholders.
- Participate in a special mentoring session during competition weekend in May to learn about citizenship, leadership and volunteerism.
- Autograph session with titleholders.
- Head shot in the Miss Kansas Program Book. (If photo is submitted by April 25)
- Gain self-esteem and self-confidence.
- Participate in the Miss Kansas Parade.
- Introduction during the Miss Kansas finals. (Required for participation - Girls: White dress below the knees; Boys: Black dress pants and white long-sleeve button down shirts)
- Receive a Miss Kansas Sunflower Program T-shirt
