Why I should be Miss Kansas:
As Miss Kansas I will be able to expand mentoring programs by promoting my platform, “Building the Circle”- Through Peer Mentoring, throughout the state and on a national level. It is a pressing issue and mentors are always needed. The power of the crown ultimately gives me a “louder voice” to address issues to the state and its youth. I would use my voice as well as my leadership, communication, and social skills to make a difference. I am prepared to be the face of the Miss Kansas Organization and make a big impact at the Miss America pageant. Throughout my year as Miss Kansas I will be constantly changing and learning as it is my goal to not only better myself but the organization as well. Our organization has the potential to be great and to be recognized at a national level. With the help of this Miss Kansas Board of Directors, I believe together, we can shape our organization for the future.
