Leadership Roles: Organized and implemented fundraising and renovation project (including a benefit chili supper and concert) for the Safe House of Butler County (raised almost $6,000 in donations and cash); wrote and directed Children’s Musical; Science Club Vice President/Treasurer; Drum Majorette; Big Sister through Big Brothers Big Sisters; DARE Role Model; Children’s church worker; Sunflower Girls’ State Governor Candidate.

Interesting Facts: In January 2006, Michelle’s art work was featured on the Kansas episode of “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Work as a caricature artist to raise money for different organizations. Play the piano, flute, and piccolo. Have written and illustrated a children’s book. Implemented a unique idea for fundraising by having “Princess Parties” for girls, with all money raised sent to a charity which supports families.

Employment: Student Financial Aid Administrative Assistant; Speech Therapist for young girl with down syndrome; Event Pianist.
