Why I should be Miss Kansas:
As the saying goes, “It takes one to know one.”  I believe this could not be more true.  In my case, I am a strong, successful woman with the skills necessary to be an influential Kansas icon.  The Miss Kansas Organization holds the highest concentration of skilled young women in the state, and if I may say, the country.  I should be Miss Kansas because I have the dexterity and through my continued work with my platform, know what it takes to benefit such a diverse community with style and poise.  Kansas is the heart of the Midwest, and our nation, it is imperative that our wonderful state is represented through education, service and success that unites all walks of life.  Kansas needs one uniting voice, one young woman with the heart of one hundred people and the drive of one thousand horses and as your Miss Kansas 2012 I will be that woman.
