Miss Kansas Outstanding Teen Past Winners Gallery

Purpose: The purpose of the Miss Kansas Outstanding Teen program is to provide an opportunity for teens to win scholarships, develop poise, confidence, stage presence, enhance interview skills and speaking ability. Young ladies will also gain knowledge about volunteerism, leadership and community service.

Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be at least 13 years of age on the day of the competition 
• May not turn 18 on or before August 31, 2010 
• May not have graduated from high school before the start of the MAOT 2011 Finals, except for 16 year-olds who graduated early 
• Must be female
• Must be a Kansas resident

Pageant Date: March 25 and 26, 2011 in Wichita KS.

Entry Fee: $275 if paid by February 15th.  $300 if paid after February 15th.  DEADLINE TO ENTER IS MARCH 1st.
Includes competition experience, competition award, commemorative t-shirt, Mother-Daughter event, community and leadership development and training.

Portrait Requirements: Head shot only; no crown, black and white or color photograph.

Lodging For Contestants: Contestants are responsible for their own lodging, transportation, meals and costs associated with the Pageant.

National Competition: The Miss America Organization will host the annual Miss America's Outstanding Teen Pageant, August 2011, in Orlando, Florida. Miss Kansas Outstanding Teen will represent Kansas in the national competition.
