FORMER TITLEHOLDERS

The very first Miss Cheney Lake Pageant was held in conjunction with the 43rd annual Sedgwick County Fair in July of 1987.  For many years, the Cheney Lake Pageant was the only outdoor pageant in the state.  While adding a unique flair, it was also an incredible amount of work for volunteers who had to be "prepared for anything."  As unbelievable as it may seem, the pageant existed outdoors in conjunction with the fair for ten years and was never cancelled or moved due to weather.

The Cheney Lake Association is a proud and generous sponsor of the pageant
